This site presents new Christian bands and new music providing an opportunity for all of us to experience the growth in Christian praise and worship coming through inspired musicians. Do drop in and have a look, and do listen to my own church's Beth Baxter, and Ian and Sally-Jo.

I have just discovered this site as a result of the owners having dropped in here and asking if I would add a link. Praise-Him is a UK Christian music website providing Christian music CDs, Christian music songbooks, Christian DVDs and Christian music Backing Tracks. Give them a try and let me know how you get on! At first glance their offering seems very professional and extensive. I don't think I've come across the specialisation in backing tracks before.

This is another new site for me - a Christian radio station based in the UK and currently only broadcasting on the web. I like the way that in some programmes you can request a song by selecting from a huge list, and hear it almost immediately (especially if the USA is not too active!) Beth Baxter is here too as I write this.

Joyce Meyer is an inspirational American preacher whose message is always clear and to the point. She speaks to very large audiences with energy and authority; and her broadcasts, videos and audio tapes are always both provocative and helpful.

Enjoying Every Day Life - Joyce Meyer Ministries, has a clear and sophisticated web site, with a range of resources, including registration for their monthly magazine, and daily inspirational words, as well as the inevitable opportunity to buy their excellent products.

Purchasing by telephone is also very easy. Joyce Meyer Ministries have an office in the UK - Joyce Meyer Ministries - England, PO Box 1549, Windsor, SL4 1GT (Tel 01753 831102).

Jesse Duplantis is from Louisiana, and makes full use of his deep South background and great sense of humour to bring all his messages alive. I defy anyone to listen to one of his messages without both laughing and learning.

Jesse Duplantis Ministries also produce an excellent monthly magazine, "Voice of the Covenant" and has a UK centre at PO Box 2141, Bath, BA1 2ZA.

We were fortunate to see Jesse live at The Abundant Life Centre (see below) at Bradford - he's even better in the flesh than on video or the web!

The Hillsong Church, based in Sydney, Australia, has a deserved reputation for the quality and power of its music, led by its worship leader Darlene Zschech. Pastor Brian Houston leads the church, and is yet another powerful speaker with a relaxed, personal style.

The Life is for Living is the media ministry of Hills Christian Life Centre. They produce a magazine "Life" and have offices in the UK address PO Box 100, Bedford, MK45 3DZ, Tel: 0500 500 308.

We sing several of their songs, including such favourites as "This is my desire", "Jesus what a beautiful name", "My Jesus my Saviour", and "My Redeemer Lives".

Amongst other things they publish an annual CD and DVD of live worship from the Sydney Entertainment Centre, with a wonderful spirit-filled atmosphere. Their latest, "For all You've done" excels in its combination of superb Christian music and sensitivity to the Spirit moving in that vast, full place.

Hillsong now have a presence in London, and its own website - they meet at the Dominion Theatre on the corner of Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road.

UCB pionerred Christian radio in the UK, and fought many battles to persuade the government to allow terrestrial broadcasting by a Christian radio station.

They are now present with several TV channels on satellite TV, and on line on the web. UCB also produce a great Word for Today booklet and you can read Today's Word on line.

Here at Our Daily Bread you can read those inspirational words that many of us see in the "Our Daily Bread" booklet. The link takes you to today's words, but from there you can also look back. This part of their site also gives access to many searchable versions of the bible.

The Abundant Life Centre is a vibrant and growing church on the south side of Bradford led by their Pastor, Paul Scanlon. We were told at a recent visit that their two Sunday services attract 1000 people at each. Their brand new modern facilities are a joy to behold, and their message of growth and outreach, an encouragement to us all. Recent visitors have included Darlene Zschech from The Hillsong Church and Jesse Duplantis both featured above. Paul Scanlon's book "God's Fingerprint" is a very encouraging read, and includes the church's inspiring statement of their shared vision The Church I See

Acorn Direct are a highly efficient, comprehensive and reasonably priced supplier of Christian Music and books. Their newsletter is an invaluable source of information on new releases and anticipated releases.

Matt will be known to all followers of the best contemporary Christian music. His many songs and inspirational books, and his leading of worship are an inspiration to me and to many of my friends. A special song of his, for me, is "The heart of Worship"... "When the music fades, all is swept away..." His most recent CD and DVD "Facedown" is true worship coming from the inside to the outside - a subject on which he speaks in the features on the DVD.

Phatfish are a great contemporary group with a superb Flash enhanced site - the site alone is worth a visit! Saw a great video of their presentation at a conference on how they worked together as a worship team, and their sound system needs - helped me with my humble efforts to support our worship team, and understand them a little better!

Dave Bilbrough is a worship leader with a great variety of worship songs to his name. I have seen him leading worship at a small venue, and he has that great ability to use his talents with modesty and a focus on the Lord that carries everyone with him to new places. Of his recent CD's I particularly like "Personal Worship 2" and "Secret Places".

Noel Richards writes and sings some of the most powerful contemporary Christian songs, and many are used at our Sunday meetings. I have seen him live in Newcastle on two occasions.... wow! The link is to his "Calling All Nations" website - which focuses on the long awaited international gathering in Berlin on 15th July 2006.

God TV is a British Christian TV channel, based in Sunderland, but broadcasting from Israel. From very humble beginnings it now has the potential to reach some 200 countries using satellite technology. The channel's founders, Rory and Wendy Alec, have believed in the promise and in the power of the media to reach the nations, and are seeing a huge growth in their broadcast outreach. They are always seeking many more partners and Angels (and you should visit the website to understand the words!) to enable them to deliver their superb output to more an more homes, especially in India and Africa. Rory and Wendy have a personal website at www.roryandwendy.com.

In 2002 I was introduced to the CD "Worship" produced by Michael W Smith. I had not heard of him before that, but once we had listened to his particular style of worship, we could not resist playing the CD again and again, and joining in with the songs. Our church worship team has also been blessed by his music, and songs like "Let it Rain" are now part of our regular repertoire. Now there is the sequel, "Worship Again" - it is difficult for him to live up to the first worship CD, but based on my initial reaction I think he has succeeded. To top it all there is a DVD - "Worship" - this is truly moving, and demonstrates Michael's God-given gift to lead in true worship.
